Privacy policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This is a starting draft written for Vasatya's actual service. Have a lawyer in India review it before launch, particularly the sections on refunds, liability and governing law.
This policy explains what [Your company name] Private Limited ("Vasatya") collects when you use Vasatya.ai, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
- Profile and resume: the resume you upload and what's read from it, plus your job preferences and screening answers such as work authorization, sponsorship needs, salary expectations and notice period.
- Applications: the jobs you choose, tailored materials, application status and messages with your Vasatya team.
- Billing: plan and payment status. Card details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store your card number.
- Contact form: your name, email and message.
- Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To match jobs to your profile and prepare tailored resumes, cover letters and answers.
- On Assist, to let your assigned Vasatya staff submit applications for you and report on them.
- To process payments, provide support and send service emails such as reports and receipts.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it to advertise to you.
Who it's shared with
- Employers: only the application materials sent to a job you or your team applied to.
- Service providers: Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing of resume and job text), Razorpay (payments) and Resend (email). They process data only to provide their services to us.
- Your workspace: members of your workspace and, on Assist, the Vasatya staff assigned to you.
- Legal requests: where required by law.
The Vasatya Chrome extension
The optional Vasatya Apply extension fills job application forms with your own Vasatya application details.
- Where it works: only on supported job application websites (currently Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby application pages) and on the Vasatya website. It doesn't run on, read or track any other website or your browsing.
- What it uses: the details of the application you chose in Vasatya: your name, contact details, tailored resume and cover letter, and screening answers from your profile, including any voluntary self-identification answers you saved.
- What it does: fills the form on the page you opened and attaches your resume and cover letter. You check the form and click the employer's Submit button yourself; the extension never submits for you. When the employer confirms, it tells Vasatya that the application was submitted so your tracker stays up to date.
- What it stores: only a connection code that links it to your Vasatya account, kept in your browser. Disconnect it in the extension, or revoke the code in Account settings, at any time.
- What it never does: sell or share your data, use it for advertising or anything other than filling your applications, or collect passwords or payment details.
Vasatya is not affiliated with or endorsed by Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or the employers whose forms you fill.
Where it's stored
Our providers may store and process data outside India, including in the United States. We use providers with appropriate security measures.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account from Account settings, your profiles, resumes and applications are deleted. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
- View and edit your profile at any time.
- Download the materials sent for any application.
